Vince Mazzilli

 
     
 

Vincent Mazzilli served for 31 years in federal law enforcement, 25 years with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). While with the DEA, he was assigned to a number of executive and command level positions including Special Agent in Charge of the largest field division in Miami. Mr. Mazzilli was also the Special Agent in Charge of the New England Field Division. Prior, he was a Special Agent with the Treasury Department’s Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF). During part of his tenure with the ATF, he was assigned to the U.S. Secret Service for dignitary protection.

Mr. Mazzilli has conducted a vast array of large-scale domestic and international investigations, and managed numerous personnel. His experience includes: investigating organized crime, narcotics, drug smuggling conspiracies, money laundering, violations of federal firearms, explosive and gambling laws, employee wrongdoing and criminality; employee background investigations. For DEA, he managed multi-million dollar budgets and formulated policies and procedures. In addition, he managed DEA’s Diversion Program to monitor the legal pharmaceutical industry.

In the private sector, Mr. Mazzilli has worked for a large national law firm gaining extensive corporate investigative experience. Mr. Mazzilli has provided investigative and consulting assistance to private clients in matters dealing with money laundering, white-collar crime, government contracts, healthcare, False Claims Act violations, due diligence, intellectual property, immigration, copyright and trademark infringement. He has also consulted on facility and supply-chain security assessments.

Mr. Mazzilli received a Bachelors degree from Hunter College, City University of New York and did post graduate study at Fordham University in New York. While working for DEA he attended Harvard University School of Government’s Senior Managers in Government Program. He is a graduate of many specialized programs through the DEA, FBI and Treasury Department including Financial Investigations School, Fraud Investigations School, and Explosive Investigation School. Mr. Mazzilli has received numerous performance awards, commendations and letters from local and federal agencies, U.S. Attorneys and members of the U.S. Congress.
