Robert L. Brenner

 
     
 

Mr. Brenner was most recently serving as a Federal Agent in the Office of Inspection and Program Review at Phoenix, AZ, in the Department of Homeland Security’s Transportation Security Administration.  His TSA duties have also included serving as the Assistant Federal Security Director-Law Enforcement.  Accomplishments and responsibilities include security facilities management, emergency preparedness, terrorism intelligence, criminal and civil investigations, liaison, and internal employee integrity.

A retired United States Secret Service Special Agent, Mr. Brenner last served as the Agent in Charge of the Santa Ana, California Office.  He has a diversified background with over 32 years of experience in the fields of criminal investigations, executive protection and major events coordination.

Mr. Brenner has a Bachelor of Science degree in Law Enforcement Administration from Western Illinois University.  He served as a Police Officer with the Fairview Heights (Illinois) Police Department and the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.  His Secret Service career included an assignment to the Presidential Protective Division at the White House.  He has conducted and led complex protection advances, internal investigations while assigned to the USSS Inspection Division, and criminal investigations at field offices in Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., Las Vegas, Nevada and Santa Ana, California.

Mr. Brenner has protected six American Presidents as well as numerous foreign dignitaries in the United States and throughout the world.

Since his retirement from the Secret Service, Mr. Brenner has also worked in the private sector providing security consulting to corporations, including major events–security and logistics, fraud investigations (civil and criminal), workplace violence–prevention / intervention, facility site security, executive / VIP protection, stalking investigations, threat assessments, and background investigations.  Additionally, he is a recognized expert in the fields of financial fraud, identity theft, counterfeit obligations, threat assessment, physical fitness training, and firearms training.  Clients have included the Computer Digital Expo Convention in Las Vegas, Pinkerton Security of San Francisco, Amgen USA, William L. Richey, PA of Miami, Florida, Talon Executive Services of Fountain Valley, California, and the Banco Noroeste of Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Mr. Brenner has also served as a security consultant for MSNBC television news.
