Wayne Black has more than thirty-six years of professional investigative and security experience in both public and private sectors. He has been in private practice since 1984 and is the owner of Wayne Black & Associates, Inc. His expertise includes directing complex internal and external investigations for governments, financial institutions and corporations. He has personally supervised security and special assignments in the United States, Africa, Europe, Central and South America. Mr. Black provides integrity testing and threat assessment services in the United States and abroad.
Mr. Black served as a law enforcement group supervisor in the Miami, Florida State Attorney’s Public Corruption/Organized Crime Division. Prior, he was assigned to the United States Justice Department Inter-Agency Task Force at the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration where he received numerous awards and commendations from the Department of Justice and the United States Attorney. Mr. Black is qualified to testify as an expert witness in Federal and State Courts.
During the Gulf War, Mr. Black designed and managed an accelerated Q Clearance program for the US Department of Energy (DOE) at the Rocky Flats Plutonium site in Colorado. He also trained DOE officials in security operations and personal protection. In June 2006, Mr. Black was a guest speaker at the Transnational Crime Conference in Madrid, Spain.
